Welsh Mounted Warriors Ride Into Wiglaf Miniatures’ Range

North Star Military Figures are now selling some new figures for the 18mm Wiglaf Miniatures range. The Welsh Mounted Warriors have joined their battles of the Dark Age and Early Medieval period and The Age of Penda wargame.

The new set contains six horses and six riders, which come in an assortment of poses. You also get miniatures representing some legendary characters like Urien of Rheged and Owain of Rheged. You will need to supply your own spears and standard for these riders, but they come with open hands so you can easily put them in place.

It's another wonderful set of miniatures by Mark Copplestone, fitting in nicely with the rest of the Age of Penda range that also includes more Welsh releases, Anglo-Saxons and Vendels.
