Steamforged Games added a new set of miniatures to their Warmachine range, giving you some new ways to expand your Khador force, allied to the teachings of Old Umbrey. Warlocks are stalking the woods with both a big new expansion set and options to buy them individually.

Maksim Azlanov // Warmachine

This big new Core Expansion for Khador's Old Umbrey introduces a bevvy of infantry, solos and support for you to use as part of mid-sized games (and beyond) of Warmachine. This band of fearsome killers is led by the Warlock Maksim Azlanov (above), who is so strong he can wield a sword that was reserved for a Warjack. Cloud would be jealous.

He is backed up by his Character Heavy Warbeast in the form of The Starved (below), a creature wreathed in myth and with skin etched with runes to fuel its hunger.

The rest of the set is then packed with a whole host of ace figures for you to use when choosing which way to go when it comes to Old Umbrey. You have the Liegemen Wardens and Shearlings as well as the Lupine Shifted and the Lupine Shifted Variant. An Apex Lupine then leaps into the fray alongside the Liegemen Primalist and finally, the Animist.

This introduces a good mix of new Warmachine miniatures (as 3D printed resin figures) that take Khador in a different direction. If you're a fan of Circle from older editions of Warmachine and Hordes, then this might be a set that ticks a few of your boxes.

Twisted Mercenaries

If you'd like to get your hands on some more plastic miniatures for Warmachine, then you might be tempted by this lovely pairing in the form of Exulon Nostilla and Aberration.

Drawn from the ranks of the Cephalyx, Exulon Nostilla is something of a survivor who sells her talents to those who have the most gold to hand. She and her monstrous Aberration wander the frontlines of Immoren's battlefields, joining armies and then plundering them of resources so that they can continue to survive.

Nostilla is a Journeyman Warcaster and when paired with Aberration, they are a powerful and aggressive pairing. They can be used with any army and should be a good way to plug some of the gaps in your force and potentially emphasise the punishing knock-out punch some factions can bring to the table. Watch out for this miniature coming at the end of July.
