Games Workshop continued the previews for Warhammer Age of Sigmar with a look at some new characters, Spearheads and Battletomes for the Grand Alliance of Death. The Soulblight Gravelords already had their new edition release and this is being followed up by the Nighthaunt and Flesh-eater Courts!

High Falconer Felgryn - Warhammer Age of Sigmar

High Falconer Felgryn // Warhammer Age of Sigmar

We start with the Flesh-eater Courts and this wonderful miniature, High Falconer Felgryn. He believes himself to be a falconer from a royal court rather than a twisted beast surrounded by bats. Joined by his loyal hunter, Grype, he hunts down weaknesses in the enemy force. The delusion that he is under can then empower the peasants and beasts beneath him to undertake great feats of "valour".

The Flesh-eater Courts also get a new Spearhead, The Charnal Watch. This could be a good force in its own right for Spearhead or the start of a new army.

This set comes with the Aborrant Gorewarden, three Crypt Flayers, three Crypt Horrors and the Royal Beastflayers. The rules for this Spearhead will be online but also within the new Battletome, which will be coming in the next few months.

Spooky Nighthaunt!

On the other side of this deathly coin, we have the Nighthaunt who get a new figure in the form of the Lord Vitriolic.

Lord Vitriolic // Warhammer Age of Sigmar

This cursed soul once peddled fake cures and snake oil to those of The Mortal Realms. These acts brought him to the attention of the Great Necromancer who turned him into a many-armed horror who throws foul potions into the heart of the enemy. Acid, gas and more can have all manner of ill effects on the chosen regiment.

The Nighthaunt also get a Spearhead with the Cursed Shacklehorde.

This set comes with a Spirit Torment, two Chainghasts, ten Dreadscythe Harridans, ten Bladegheist Revenants and two Dreadblade Harrows. A wonderful mixture of ghosts which can scare your enemy into submission. This set also has the bonus of being stupidly easy to paint and get ready for the tabletop.

You will be able to get the new miniatures, Spearheads and Battletomes in the next few months, giving folks a way to dive deeper into The Mortal Realms and Grand Alliance Death.

Could you be tempted by Nagash's followers?
