Don’t Miss Out On FireForge Games’ Sohei Warrior Monks

You have four days left to get stuck into the newest Kickstarter from FireForge Games, who are working on finishing off a plastic set of 28mm scale Sohei Warrior Monks for use with their Samurai Wars range.

The set from FireForge includes twenty-four miniatures that can be built with a range of weapons. You can choose from naginata (spear), yumi (bow) or teppo (gun). This allows you to build the ancient caste of warrior monks who controlled much of Japan before the Sengoku Wars, when Oda Nobunaga launched his campaign.

The Sohei Warrior Monks set can be kitbashed alongside the rest of the Samurai Wars range, so you can come up with some neat combinations if you are so inclined. You can see some of that converting over on the Kickstarter page.
You can see how the plastic sprues will break down within the new set. You get a bunch of different heads, bodies, legs and weapons, allowing you to pose your Warrior Monks in different ways.

I know a lot of folks were particularly eager to see these plastic miniatures joining the range by FireForge. It looks like a decent set and one that has a lot of potential when combined with the rest of the Samurai Wars collection.
Could you be tempted to dive into this campaign?
