New Set! Trident Realms Join Mantic’s Kings Of War Champions

Mantic Games has added another Company Box into the mix for their 28mm scale Fantasy rank-and-flank wargame, Kings of War Champions. The Trident Realms are going to be taking to the battlefield under the command of Axel Tricklebrook!

...and now for the fluff! Axel Tricklebrook has spent centuries concealed deep within the warm caves beneath Pannithor, avoiding the terror that was Winter's Wrath. He has now decided to make himself known, spurred on by a rising power in the East. Now, this water mage, alongside his water elemental, Splish, will be kicking ass and taking names for the Trident Realms.

This set comes with everything that you'd need for running Tricklebrook and his Company in your games of Kings of War Champion. Leading the way is the MasterCraft Resin Axel Tricklebrook but he is backed up by some gloriously hard plastic Naiads, Riverguard and Dambusters. There are ten of each of the Naiads and Riverguard and one of the Dambusters.

Not only does this introduce a great hero figure for Kings of War but some very characterful plastic figures for the Trident Realms. I think the Dambuster is absolutely glorious and I love that the sculpt really showcases the motion in the creature, bounding forward across the battlefield.

Kings of War Champions gives you a neat entry point into the Kings of War universe and Pannithor. Much like with Warhammer Age of Sigmar's Spearhead, you have specific rules and a complete army in a box, which means that you just dive in and start playing.
