New Web-Swinging Hero Packs Coming To Marvel: Crisis Protocol
September 2, 2025 by brennon
Atomic Mass Games are now taking pre-orders for newly updated sets for their 40mm scale comic book skirmish game, Marvel: Crisis Protocol. We'd already seen the Spider-Foes and now it's time for the Web-Warriors to enter the fray!
Web-Swinging Heroes // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
We start with the prime Web-Swinging Heroes set, which brings together past miniatures into a new Affiliation Pack. This set features miniatures for Spider-Man, Black Cat, Spider-Woman and Agent Venom, who had previously been released in different sets.
Each of the heroes brings their own unique powers to the tabletop but because of their affiliation and the combinations that can spin off from that, they should be able to tackle any threat that the street-level thugs can send their way, as well as galactic threats!

This gives someone diving into the game for the first time, or someone seeking to expand their collection into a new affiliation, a chance to pick up all of the characters in one place. A common theme with this set and all of the others you'll see here is that they also come with updated and newly refreshed cards in a clearer, more consistent format that makes gameplay easier to get your head around.
Every Spider-Man needs more companions and so you might always want to get your hands on the character pack for Prowler, Spider-Man 2099 & Ultimate Spider-Man.
Prowler, Spider-Man 2099 & Ultimate Spider-Man // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
I think you can see what Atomic Mass Games are trying to do with this set of releases, right? This set comes with Aaron Davis as The Prowler alongside Miles Morales as Ultimate Spider-Man. They might fight together now but there's every chance that The Prowler has an ulterior motive!

Capping off this set, you also get the miniature for the time-travelling Miguel O’Hara or Spider-Man 2099. I imagine it would be rather cool to play out that chase scene from Across the Spider-Verse with these characters.
If you thought that was cool, wait until you see the final set of miniatures that complete this Spider-Verse trilogy of releases!
Silk, Spider-Ham & Spider-Man Noir // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
Last but not least, we have this Character Pack, which introduces Spider-Ham and his cartoon-like powers for taking down your foes. Alternatively, you could stalk criminals through 1930s New York with Spider-Man Noir. A durable street brawler and expert with his pistol. Prepare your best Nicolas Cage impressions. Finally, you also get Silk, who can be your agile attacker who leaps into the fray, does the deed and zips out before the attacks can come her way.

This is a brilliant new trio of boxed sets for Marvel: Crisis Protocol and helps make it that little easier for someone getting into the game. You can now pick up some well-designed packs that give you a good handful of miniatures to suit a particular affiliation.
More Street-Level Heroes
In addition to the Web-Warriors above, Atomic Mass Games also put together a new Character Pack for those seeking to expand their roster of street-level heroes who tidy up the villains that the Avengers don't have time for.
Echo, Ronin & Tigra // Marvel: Crisis Protocol
Not all heroes have godlike superpowers and that's where the likes of Echo and Ronin come in. Both Echo and Ronin use their superb agility and martial skill to defeat their foes. These are new miniatures for the Marvel: Crisis Protocol range and give you some great ways to build up a team alongside characters like Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Capping this set off, you also have a mystical friend in the form of Tigra. This set gives you a powerful hit-and-run style set of characters to play with, who can launch surprise attacks before slinking back into the shadows. Also, yes, Ronin comes with an alternative unmasked head so you can give Clint Barton his time in the spotlight.
All of these miniatures are going to be available to buy later this year, in October. You'll be able to scoop these up and dive into more Marvel-based shenanigans on the tabletop before too long!
Drop your thoughts below on the new packs!

Glad to see Ultimare Spuderman in the mix. Maybe one day we’ll see Ultimate Iron Man, that was a pretty nice design.
But still no Iron Spider? What are we doing here, AMG?
