Go Undercover With New Spectre Miniatures Releases
September 8, 2025 by brennon
Spectre Miniatures has released a couple of new sets that are perfect for scenario-driven games of Spectre Operations. Your Operators can go undercover with a couple of new sets (either physically or as digital 3D printable files), which look great for some espionage on the tabletop.
Undercover Operators - Covert // Spectre Miniatures
We start with the Undercover Operators in their Covert state. These are your highly-trained, deadly Operators who have their weapons concealed, blending in with the ground as they are tracking down a target or working their way towards a building of particular interest.
They would be well-suited for representing Western/NATO intelligence agents and you can actually use them as you'd expect using the Covert and Detection rules presented in Spectre Operations. I really like the look of the miniatures, especially since you can't tell that they have weapons concealed anywhere on their person.
They would be excellent when used in Spectre Operations games where you've employed a narrator who could trick both players when putting these figures down on the tabletop. Civilian or agent?!
When the proverbial hits the fan, that's when you switch out these miniatures to the Overt variants that you see below.

You've got a great mix of miniatures here in different poses. Some are drawing their weapons, ready to fire, whilst others have got a bead on their targets. I really liked the hooded fellow who looks like he could be an assassin sent to take down that VIP that you've been protecting all game!
You have a mixture of different weapons in the set (going from left to right), including the Suppressed Glock-17, MPX Copperhead, Glock 43x, B&T MP9, VP9 integrally suppressed pistol and MP7.
This is a fun set for those who enjoy the deeper, narrative side of Spectre Operations and want to take the fighting from modern warzones to the streets of packed cities instead. You could have a lot of fun with this.
What do you make of these new miniatures from Spectre?

The covert/overt pairing is a great idea. Tempted as they could come in useful for Five Parsecs, Stargrave and suchlike
Luigi … 😉
I do like the concept of ‘civillians’ that can be switched with identical models with a gun.
Although you can probably do something similar with the new civillian sets from Wargames Atlantic. It may not be as detailed, but it will get the job done.
The WA ones are a welcome addition to the genre for sure – especially at the price point
I picked up the covert versions as I need some more Western civilians but the overt versions are a nice touch. Their models have gotten so much better the last few years.
I’d like to know where the overt operatives were hiding some of those weapons in their covert forms, especially the woman second from the left.
With a stretch of imagination I would say disassembled and inside the cameras.
