Wargames Atlantic Partners Up For New Trench Crusade Set
September 15, 2025 by brennon
MiniWarGaming Dave and Wargames Atlantic have joined forces to create a new set of 32mm scale plastic miniatures for use in your games of Trench Crusade. See what you think of the new seven miniature Trench Missionaries set.
Trench Missionaries // Wargames Atlantic
This set of faith-driven warriors has been designed to slot into the world of Trench Crusade and to be used as proxies for New Antioch in the game. They are Mormon-inspired miniatures, bringing a unique character and depth to your games. Everyone has to slog away in the trenches at some point and it's great that we're seeing lots of alternatives coming out for those who want to dive into a bit of kitbashing and customisation.

This set comes with enough bits and pieces to make a Trench Bishop, High Priest, Patriarch, Trench Warden, Trench Deacon, Trench Missionary and Sentinel. All of them can be armed with trusty rifles and melee weapons but also a mixture of different relics that should help shield them against the forces of Hell.

This set was concepted and designed by Dave Nordquist, also known as MiniWarGaming Dave and then sculpted by Thieu Duong. You get a great set of alternative miniatures, so you can take your Trench Crusade warband in a different direction, whilst also not straying far from the aesthetic of the game and its world.
You also get the towering Sentinel, which looks awesome and will no doubt tick boxes for folks who love their Steampunk.

If you're interested in how these new Trench Crusade miniatures work, more on their history, lore and battle tactics will be landing soon via the folks at MiniWarGaming. It will be fascinating to see if MiniWarGaming introduce any other plastic kits into the mix for Trench Crusade or if we'll see other creators come on board to share their visions?
Drop your thoughts below on the Trench Missionaries!

For a second, when I looked at the group shot, I thought the Sentinel had a tophat XD
With a bit of effort it could!

Pleased to see some plastic to support this game. STLs and a third party printer are only going to get them so far. I’ll get some for sure.
Taking a second look the shirt and tie guy is a little weird.
Ha my armour will protect my arms from your diabolical bullets!
*is shot in the heart*
I expect it’ll shave off or it’ll certainly smooth off with putty but a strange design choice.
Wow these are terrible. A collaboration between this IP and Wargames Atlantic should surely have started with the existing multipart sculpts being put on to sprue. Instead we get this weak bunch of anything figures. I understand that WA may have needed more skin in the game to start production with their own designs (less to pay in license I guess).
They aren’t even good figures without Trench Crusade
