Pre-Order Two New Armies For Mantic Games’ Epic Warpath
September 22, 2025 by brennon
Mantic Games are already expanding the offerings for their new 10mm scale Sci-Fi miniature wargame, Epic Warpath. You can now pre-order armies for the GCPS and the Nameless, adding to the factions that you can choose from in this massive combined arms tabletop game.
GCPS Core Army Pack // Epic Warpath
Leading the way is the new GCPS Core Army Pack, which comes with everything that you need to get started as the GCPS in your games of Epic Warpath. The GCPS has rapidly expanded as a force to be reckoned with in the galaxy and so that means that, as well as your regular GCPS marines, you'll get all sorts of extra armour to support you, which means tanks, armoured personnel carriers, walkers and more.

You get a whole bunch of plastic in the set, which could be painted up in that glorious green, or perhaps you could choose another colour that represents a corporation of your choice? I think the green looks really nice, especially on the regular grunts but also on the walkers.
If you need a bit of extra firepower, you can also get your hands on the GCPS Reinforcements Pack or perhaps something bigger in the form of the GCPS Battlemech!
GCPS Battlemech // Epic Warpath
The Battlemech has been designed to take and hold key assets on the battlefield, dominating the fighting with its superior weaponry and disrupting the enemy with its potent ECM technology. It also helps that it looks super cool with those massive gun arms and an army's worth of missiles racked above its head.
Fear The Nameless!
As well as the forces of the GCPS rocking up to try and save humanity, you've also got a terrible and unknowable threat bubbling away in the blackness of space in the form of the Nameless. They also get a new Core Army Pack.
Nameless Core Army Pack // Epic Warpath
Where the GCPS rely on technology, the Nameless don't bother (or at least that we know!). Their entire army is based on biological creations like their swarming Larvae or their Bargocyst transporters. Even the Nameless Gunslingers make use of crystal-like weapons which function in a way no one quite understands.
Nameless Core Army Pack - Miniatures // Epic Warpath
This set comes with all manner of creepy and crazy creations that form the Nameless and make them a threat to be watched carefully. Whilst all of the Epic Warpath armies would be pretty easy to paint up and get ready for the tabletop, I think the Nameless might be the easiest of them all. Slap on some cool Speedpaints and you'd have the army looking good in no time!
Much like with the GCPS, you can get your hands on a Reinforcement Pack for the army but there is also another titanic beasty that could go up against the Battlemech in the form of the Latropod.
Nameless Latropod // Epic Warpath
This is one heck of a huge, dominating beast that will drive back anyone who decides to get close to your lines. It can also work your allies nearby into a frenzy, making them work even better on the tabletop. A properly awesome Super Heavy for you to throw into your Epic Warpath games.

All of these miniatures are currently up for pre-order and should be making their way to the tabletop in the next couple of months, around October/November time. Epic Warpath is here in force!

Excited to see GCPS up for order, but I am finding their tanks to be really lackluster. Also, that battlemech could use just a little something extra to make it pop.
Pretty sure those tanks are supposed to be hover tank. Back in 1st Edition firefight, I am sure there was picture of something similar in the GCPS army list and I am sure it was a hover tank. I don’t know why they aren’t mounted on bases to make them look like they’re floating
Yeah, having them on bases and small flight stands would do wonders. Still not entirely sold on the look of them, but that would help a ton.
They weren’t the most exciting design in the picture I saw. But then again, I also intensely dislike the concept of the “hover tank”.
How big are the superheavies? Nothing is shown to give them scale, even on the website.
I’ve just finished putting the Clade Warden, for the asterian’s, together and that is about 55mm to eye level from the base.
Great to see these up for preorder! More tiny weee mens!
