Weird New Creations Join Mammoth Miniatures Range
October 1, 2025 by brennon
Some weird new creations have been added to Mammoth Miniatures' website over the last few days. If you're looking for more quirky figures to throw into your Indie, 28mm Sci-Fi or Fantasy skirmish games, then maybe you'd be taken by some Froglin Warriors or a pair of Mutant Heavies?
Froglin Warriors // Mammoth Miniatures
We start with the Froglin Warriors, lesser-known beastfolk who dwell in damp dungeons, murky swamps and in the sewers of the cities of your Fantasy world. They will eat almost anything, which means they are great for the purpose of cleaning but equally feel quite happy to eat innocents too!
I think these would be great for a dungeon delve or Fantasy skirmish but they could also be weird, warped mutants in your Sci-Fi games as well, dwelling down deep in the dank corners of some towering city on a distant planet.
Talking of mutants, how about the Mutant Heavies that Mammoth recently sculpted?
Mutant Heavies // Mammoth Miniatures
This set comes with two Mutant Heavies. One of them is carrying a massive blaster, whilst the other is clutching a pistol and the other two hands get ready to club someone to death. I quite liked the quote that was added alongside these miniatures, "Reliable, tough, cheap as chips...the only downside to mutant bodyguards is the slime".
Last but not least, we have the Arcanist, who could end up being a focal point of a Sci-Fi skirmish campaign.
Arcanist // Mammoth Miniatures
The Arcanist is an enigmatic individual who has travelled many worlds in search of all sorts of secrets. Perhaps this makes him the focal point of a campaign where two rival warbands or gangs are trying to get to him for the knowledge he possesses? Maybe he's actually the Big Bad of a scenario who is about to unlock some terrible power which could doom reality?
New Miniatures // Mammoth Miniatures
All of these miniatures are available for you to snap up right now, cast in coloured polyurethane resin and as single-piece figures, so no worries about having to build anything! They are all hand-sculpted, so they carry that awesome charm of other figures within the 28 scene.
You could have a really good time using these figures with Mammoth Miniatures' own game, Planet 28!
Are you going to be picking up these new figures?
