Ill Gotten Games is on Kickstarter right now with an ace and thematic Indie miniatures game called MEAT. Inspired by the likes of Evil Dead, Silent Hill, this game has you hacking your way through the crimson hordes of the hungry dead!

MEAT - Ill Gotten Games

During your games of MEAT, one player will control a randomly generated supernatural investigator who has been trapped in a mirror-universe, taking refuge in a remote cabin. The other player takes on the role of a Gamesmaster (GM) who controls the hordes of undead that are trying to smash their way into the cabin to kill that investigator!

MEAT Survivor - Ill Gotten Games

Gameplay is powered by the CRUX roleplaying engine and uses a full set of polyhedral dice. As well as diving into the miniature skirmishes between the investigators and the undead, you will also be diving into narrative RPG mechanics when it comes to decision making, resource management, exploration and more. Surviving in MEAT has been designed to be highly challenging and rougelike.

As well as being designed as a one-on-one experience, there are also more game modes included within the MEAT rules. You'll get options for solo play, cooperative options for you and a friend to face down the undead together and also OpenTactics for those who want some neat, casual wargaming rules.

When it comes to the rewards from the campaign, you'll get the PDF rules for MEAT, character and campaign sheets and some printable maps. You also have standees if you'd like to go down the traditional print-and-play experience.

All of the miniatures for the game, both characters and monsters, are 30mm in scale and come pre-supported, so you can print them out at home. You will also get the 3D printable terrain, which you can see above if you'd prefer to go down that route.

On the miniatures side of things, you will be able to 3D print an intrepid investigator, fourteen of the hungry dead, ten pieces of furniture and a fully modular cabin map which uses their ScatterBlocks terrain system. A brilliant set of 3D printable options for those who want to go all-in when it comes to MEAT.

If you'd like to dive in and do some 3D printing right now, you can get your hands on a free survivor/investigator in the form of Lucy. Are you going to be diving into this Evil Dead-style skirmish affair for Halloween this year?

You only have just over one day left to get involved!
