Inspired by the book and film, The Eagle Has Landed, 1st Corps has released a few new sets of World War II 28mm scale miniatures representing their take on some of the main characters! Perhaps these could be great for a new, alternative scenario in your World War II wargames?

Steiner Mrs Grey Father Verecker & George Wilde - 1st Corps

Each set comes with a selection of four figures which can be used for your games set against the backdrop of The Eagle Has Landed. If you're looking for an alternative scenario to play as a World War II skirmish, The Eagle Has Landed is a great shout and could well be played out using 02 Hundred Hours.

Devlin Verecker Colonel Pitts & Capt Von Neustadt - 1st Corps

Seymour Prior Armsby & Capt Harry Clark - 1st Corps

As well as the three character packs, there is also another pack which comes with Devlin on the back of a motorbike, hitting the road. They are all great miniatures and come packed with character, perfect for skirmish games and for those who are fans of the book and/or movie.

Devlin on Motorbike - 1st Corps

As well as the set of twelve miniatures here and the miniature Devlin on his motorbike, future releases are planned for this Operation Eagle collection. 1st Corps are going to be working on adding some "Polish" Paratroopers into the mix, as well as US Rangers.

This means that you can play out your earlier efforts at subterfuge with your Axis infiltrators before all hell breaks loose and you dive into the battle with Colonel Pitts and the US Army Rangers before Captain Harry Clark gets stuck in.

Are you going to be trying a scenario or two using these miniatures?
