Diehard Miniatures are now on Kickstarter with an expansion to their Undead collection. The Unquiet Dead have risen from their graves once more with more core troops alongside some towering reinforcements.

This collection aims to expand the Fantasy Undead by Diehard with forty-six brand new metal miniatures alongside a few freebies for good measure. As you can see by the artwork and design, there is a seriously awesome Oldhammer vibe to the figures from this collection.

Skeletons with Hand Weapons // Diehard Miniatures

At the core of the collection are the Skeletones themselves, armed with various weapons. You can get Skeletons with Hand Weapons and Spears, forming the core of your fighting force as it shambles forth across the battlefield.

This builds on an initial run of Skeletons (also available over on the Kickstarter), so you'll now have plenty of core troops armed with melee and ranged weapons. You should also note that the Skeletons are hefting around some brand new shield designs (with the icons sculpted onto them), so you can really push that Oldhammer angle.

Sticking with Skeletons, the campaign is also looking to fund more figures like these Skeletal Hounds, bounding towards the enemy. Do they end up burying themselves if they catch sight of their visage in the mirror?

You will also get their pack master, who was probably the one who tended to them in life. I get the idea that these Skeletons might have once been buried alongside a warlord a long time ago. I doubt that they had much in the way of choice in the matter.

Another towering miniature is also being added to the collection once the funding level reaches a certain threshold. See what you make of Eric the Flensed!

This is not the limit of Diehard's ambition, however, and there are plenty more figures waiting in the depths of the barrow, waiting to be summoned forth. Archers, Reapers and more accessories are on the way that could be great for adding more character to Fantasy armies or perhaps even dungeon delving adventures.

Whoever has summoned the dead back into life has also managed to turn their hand to some recently deceased unfortunate ones, too.

Shambling Zombies // Diehard Miniatures

You can also get a set of Shambling Zombies for use as part of your army. This is alongside all of the other undead figures, which are available as part of the campaign. You can get all sorts of cool characters, monsters, elite and normal units, plus plenty more. Diehard do the undead very well!

Last but not least, I should highlight the limited edition figure for this Kickstarter campaign, Ozzymandias the Dark Warlock.

I would imagine that this fellow was the one who summoned the dead back from the brink, ready to enact some terrible plan that nestles somewhere in the back of his crazed mind. Another gloriously Oldhammer figure for use in your wargames.

I would heartily recommend checking out more from the Kickstarter, especially if you're eager for more proper, metal undead!
