I have plans for five factions but I’ve got to be realistic about what I can get done before next expo. Considered i have to get the rulebook printed and boxes made well in advance.

Mods in Dawn of War makes me think there will be space marines wearing parkas riding on Lambrettas.

I’d say 3 factions is better … two is not enough for variety in a (skirmish) game.
I hope you get there.

Looking forwards to this one (probably going to be the best of the bunch). On the new edition of the main rules Piers and Warren have said it’s not so much a new edition but more of a reorganisation, fixing a few […]

Mad Robot Miniatures do a large range of arms and hands (as well as other bits). I did notice a “Grognard” line of torsos and heads and Lazguns some RT players might want to look at. The Mad Robot stuff is good, but a little older so should fit those older Necromunda minis. They do have some bare arms as well as Necromunda style arms…[Read more]

Buying from the US to the UK is even worse. After the shipping (which is ridiculous no matter which country you are in), you THEN get hit with a 20% “import duty” (or the government charges VAT on good coming into the UK). BUT if you haven’t paid the import duty when paying for your order (which is then paid by the international vendor, more on…[Read more]

If i make money it would be nice, but i will make a game and a range of minis because its something ive always wanted to do. It will probably cost less than building a couple of new armies and some people maybe will get some fun out of it too. People may think I’ve lost the plot, but my current goal is to make 2 factions and a ruleset to take to…[Read more]

I take your point about the setting. The idea was like you say, to have something people could have some fun sticking mushrooms and fungus all over modern ruined building terrain or mdf buildings they already own.
The reason I started making space goblins was because I love them and they get a bit of a bad deal in most games, in 40k they are just…[Read more]

God, I hate GWs new flying models. They take perfectly good-looking minis, then just make them look clumsy, like they’re tripping over stuff or banging into something, and it’s all molded as one, so it’s not just […]

Gobbos/Goblins always make me think of classic GW goblins … and not some ‘far future’ setting where they have evolved as a new species.
Not quite sure why it even has to be a (former) Earth.
Is this so you can incorporate a (broken) statue of liberty into your maps? 😉
Fictional settings can be tricky to sell to people, but they are worth it…[Read more]
