Gobbos/Goblins always make me think of classic GW goblins … and not some ‘far future’ setting where they have evolved as a new species.
Not quite sure why it even has to be a (former) Earth.
Is this so you can incorporate a (broken) statue of liberty into your maps? 😉
Fictional settings can be tricky to sell to people, but they are worth it…[Read more]

alfonsothetraitor started the topic A tip for your armless Rogue Trader Necromunda minis. in the forum Painting in Tabletop Gaming 3 days ago
Remember those old bare arm sprues that came with those old Necromunda and Rogue Trader miniatures? They are almost impossible to find now and if you do find one on EBay they are charging a small fortune for them .
Well I found a great alternative from Wargames Atlantic Aztec plastic kit.

Likely will order this. Is Sicily included? Canadians fought both in Sicily and “up the boot”. Melfa River Crossing in Italy is a great study in recce in force and delaying action until stronger reinforcements can arrive.

I offloaded a bunch of guitar gear ahead of this nonsense, and now won’t sell to the US. Not worth the headache, plus TACO.
Canada lives above an active crack den that is on fire.

using other distributors is kind of how they finally ‘solved’ the Brexit issues …
Heck, it’s how car companies got around similar concepts ages ago. Ship the parts to Europe/USA and do final assembly (or whatever they can get away with) there. You think Coca Cola actually ships bottled cola across the world ? (they don’t)
However it does…[Read more]

@guillotine the Redis error is the updated site version of the old Cloudflare error we used to get when the exchange of data failed to confirm or complete in time. The solution is the same:
The solution is to leave the Redis error message on screen, then open your project in another tab on the same browser and check to see if your project…[Read more]

I’ve seen comments from other UK suppliers saying they are just charging US customers an extra 10% on top of the order value for the import duty. The end of de minimis going into the US is a major issue. Most individual hobby orders are below the UK/EU de minimis order value of £135/e150. The US had a larger de minimis of $800 which will now be…[Read more]

Not really sure why it would cost more overall. I’m an Australia and when I buy from the UK they take off the 20% VAT. Assuming Americans also lose the VAT (which they do) even a 10% Tariff means they’re still paying less than the locals are.
So all the companies saying “Sorry guys you need to pay more” are actually just saying “Sorry guys your…[Read more]
