This week’s pledge is to paint an entry for the painting competition.

The video is pretty good and the tag line works. Same paint. Obvious new name. Probably one of those things that matters more in third party stores vs an actual Warhammer store but feels like a *shrug* yep, makes sense kind of thing to me. Citadel has been dead as a term with GW for a very long time at this point otherwise

The scale of the battleships is supremely disappointing. I understand they’d be far too big for the game space otherwise, but other games are rich and exciting precisely because they obey scale so well.

I’ve used ‘AI’ at work and as a hobby.
It’s fun to experiment and see what it does.
For creative things it is like a big encounter table that some rpg’s have.
You give it a hint and it will generate some nonsense that you can use to build on.I would never trust anyone to use the generated output in a semi-professional product.
It is scarily…[Read more]

I have never used AI and will actively continue to not use it. Watched a minute or two of the video and got bored.
His servo-skulls look neat-o.
@limburger isn’t that the same turd in a box that said that everyone who paints Germans for WW 2 is a Nazi ?
Seems like he drives controversy then for views, like the usual “influencer turds”? A cultu…[Read more]

Did Gerry say that Captain Bucky O’Hare is in the Halo game? That’s an unexpected crossover.

yay … the wood I had ordered has arrived.
And it looks like all is exactly as specified, so now I need to worry if I measured correctly 😀Also 12 mm MDF is heavy. I’m not quite sure if I have f*cked this up or simply underestimated the weight.
It definitely is a bit more complicated to move everything in place once I have it assembled, so I…[Read more] -

I remember when BOW did their own magazine! that was cool but i think it was just too much on top of the normal journalism and then the store too.

Pledge: work on Chonky for the paint contest, and get back to my Orks!
Owing the problem: I’ve never had a problem with this, honestly. “Lessons learned” include discussing what happened and how not to repeat the error.

Wargames Foundry still sells some of the 1980s Citadel ranges – historicals, odds and ends.
Mid 80s I remember buying Citadel before there was Warhammer. D&D minis for me!

Here is my first entry (I hope) of this month. I’m also working a quite bigger miniature which I hope to finish in time.
This is a 3d printed model from the Warhamster Kickstarter by Apache Studio: BATHAMSTER.

The Warcrow Dwarves look good. For Infinity they also have a nice split of female and male. I am very interested in the Gundam game, I just worry about the availability of the sets. I haven’t checked how large […]
