MCP still has a gigantic back catalog of comics, which may be the one thing that allows people to forget about the movies.
I definitely don’t know half the characters that have been released and/or announced for MCP, but that’s because I’m not into the comics at all.

I bought X-Wing long ago and enjoyed it, but my adversary became more elusive soon after and although I continued to build my fleets ready for a rematch… it never happened.

When X-Wing 2.0 arrived I didn’t bother upgrading and now my fleets sit in KR Multicases next to my Warmachine/Hordes Mk 2/3 armies.

I like the sculpts in Shatterpoint, although lightsabers are frightening thin and fragile, but it does feel like better value than MCP as you get four minis per box instead of two in MCP (or even one in  some cases).

To be honest it sounds like jargon around whats already been happening ie: release cadence being significantly reduced, mcp and legion are now both getting monthly to bi-monthly releases and shatterpoint seems to be about quarterly.
