Become a potion master in this new bluffing game from FoxMind.

An epic encounter between the world’s savviest alchemists is drawing universal attention. Each alchemist starts with the same basic ingredients: rare mushrooms, secret liquid vials, and poisonous beetles. In a match of wit and bluff, they compete to get rid of their ingredients and take control of the final potion. Closely watching each other's moves, will you prevail in this unique and original game of deception?

The Potion is a dice rolling bidding game with a similar concept to Rock, Paper Scissors. Players roll a dice to determine the win conditions for the round, then choose an ingredient to place in secret into their palm for bidding.

Players then simultaneously reveal the ingredients in their palm, and the person who meets the dice victory conditions can discard their ingredient into their potion. Dice are then passed clockwise onto the next player to roll. The winner is the first to use all their ingredients and become the potion master!

This is the latest offering in the portable games category. I love the design of this game - I think the bottle is really cool and the artwork is aesthetically appealing. But The Potion is not designed to be the star of games night. Instead, it is a quick, fun, easy-to-play game designed for portability and intermittent gaming and, in that respect, I think it succeeds.

FoxMind report on Instagram that it should reach North American shelves soon, along with a photo of Potion arriving in their warehouse. We're pretty excited!

What is the best portable game you've ever played?

"A quick, fun, easy-to-play game designed for portability and intermittent gaming."
