Start The French Revolution With Perry’s Latest Miniatures

Perry Miniatures released some great new miniatures at the end of last year that we missed! So, check out some of the new additions they made to the Revolutionary French collection, which included artillery crews, their guns and some cavalry for chasing down the enemy.

Revolutionary French - Foot Artillery Loading // Perry Miniatures

The Foot Artillery crews come in two different packs. One of them features the soldiers loading their cannons whilst the second has them firing it and blasting away enemy defences. Neither of the sets come with the guns themselves, which you'll have to buy separately.

The teams could be given the four-pounder from the French in Egypt range or the Limbers from the French in Egypt range. If you were going back to the Consulate Period (according to Perry Miniatures), you'll want the Horse Artillery to slot into the mix as well and it will all look great.

The miniatures, as always, look awesome and come packed with character. You essentially have a nice little set of dioramas when you set up your artillery on the tabletop. This is great for display as well.

Revolutionary French Cavalry

As well as the artillery teams above, you can also get your hands on some nice cavalry for you to add into the mix.

You have two different variations of the Heavy Cavalry, galloping in their overalls but also regular boots. You have some nice variants there for those wanting to add some character to a single unit, or of course, simply for modelling and painting to match a particular period.

As Perry Miniatures mentioned, the cavalry of the period wasn't particularly well equipped and they were often clad in a mixture of civilian and military outfits. If you'd prefer to be a little bit more ostentatious, then you could also run with the Cuirassier, featuring a Command set and more.

A solid selection of Revolutionary French for you to slot into the mix for playing out this particular period of history. A volatile one, which ultimately led to widespread chaos across Europe and beyond, as well as the rise of some notable individuals.
